Phase One
An initial Client survey is conducted to find out the scope
of the project. After analysis of the business situation and
competitive environment etc we will prepare a Web Client Brief.
Schedules and budgets will be set at this juncture.
Phase Two
In Phase Two of the web design process we will begin the design
development of the web site. We will:
- define the goals of the web site
- create the site map
- obtain an outline of the content
- design the interactive features
- discuss relevant technological requirements of the site
- design all the primary and secondary navigation for the site
Phase Three
In Phase Three we will:
- develop a visual click through prototype of the site. Usually
we provide two design types with an example of a home page
and one page depth in
- design all forms and databases relating to the site
- further develop the content for each of the pages
Phase Four
This is where all the technical and backend programming elements
will be implemented and tested. The site will go through a
quality assurance testing plan to ensure all functionality
of the site is working.
Phase Five
At this stage the publishing and marketing of the web site
will be done. The site will be launched and registration with
search engines will begin.
If maintenance is being kept in-house by the client, we will
provide a training session for those involved in the updating
of the web site.
